Outside Magazine Names Rally Software as One of America’s Best Places to Work in 2012
BOULDER, Colo., August 23, 2012 - Rally® announces it was named to Outside magazine’s fifth annual “Best Places to Work” list. Rally is ranked #24 out of 100 companies that Outside recognizes as “...successful businesses that allow people to pursue ambitious careers but also spend time with their families, give back to their communities, and fulfill their passion for adventure.” The top 30 companies from the list are featured in the September issue of Outside magazine, available on newsstands now.
Outside’s “Best Places to Work” project celebrates innovative companies that are setting a new standard for a healthy work-life balance. The list was compiled with the help of the Outdoor Industry Association and Best Companies Group. The experts at the Best Companies Group analyzed the results of various surveys and selected the companies that best enable employees to pursue active lifestyles while also supporting their social and environmental contributions.
“It’s an incredible honor to be awarded a place on Outside’s ‘Best Places to Work’ list for the third time,” said Liz Andora, Rally’s VP of People. “I am passionate about continuing to foster a culture that promotes work-life balance and nurtures happy, healthy employees who love coming to work.”
“We’re thrilled to celebrate all 100 of these forward-thinking companies,” says Michael Roberts, Senior Executive Editor of Outside. “They believe success depends on helping their employees live more active and fulfilling lives. The kinds of benefits they’re providing—free fitness classes, flexible hours, lots of time out of the office—result in a more productive and engaged staff.”
Among Rally's core values are maintaining a healthy work-life balance, cultivating trust and respect with one another, and giving back to the community. As part of its philanthropic culture, the company sets aside a portion of its equity as part of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Colorado. Rally's 1% philanthropy model also encourages Rally employees to pledge 1% of their paid time per year to volunteer for the non-profit of their choice.
In March 2012, Rally was recognized in the first ‘Best for the World’ list of companies with the most positive overall social and environmental impact. Then in April 2012, Rally was named The Denver Post’s ‘Top Workplaces 2012’ winner in the mid-size employer category in a new annual report highlighting local organizations that strive for excellence in their workplaces. Earlier this month, Rally celebrated its seventh year as a ‘Best Company to Work For’ in Colorado in the medium-sized category, as named by ColoradoBiz Magazine.
Rally currently has over 25 positions open in various areas, including Engineering, IT, Marketing, Professional Services and Sales in Boulder, Colo., Raleigh, N.C., Seattle, Wash., Toronto, Australia and Amsterdam. To view and apply for open positions, visit Rally's Career Page.
