Rally Software Expands Agile Success Tour to Boston, Seattle, Chicago and London
BOULDER, Colo., September 23, 2009 - Rally®, the leader in Agile application lifecycle management (ALM), today announced the expansion of the Agile Success Tour, a series of interactive half-day seminars for software and IT executives who are currently adopting or considering adopting Agile development practices. The free seminars will be held in Seattle on October 1, Chicago on October 15 and London, England on October 29. The Boston event was held on September 17.
"I attended the recent Agile Success Tour in Washington, D.C. and was impressed with how much information I learned in just a half a day, both from the panelists and other companies in the D.C. area that were also wanting to transition to Agile," said Bhardwaj Velamakanniof of Omnyx. "Above all, I found this event to not be a Rally sales pitch, and it really did focus on answering my specific implementation questions about what to do and what not to do in order to be successful in my Agile roll-out."
Attendees of the Agile Success Tours will:
- Hear real-life Agile implementation stories from local companies and other Agile experts.
- Learn how to quantify the benefits of Agile practices in their organization.
- Get questions answered during interactive Q&A and topical breakout sessions focused on making new Agile teams successful, Agile quality and testing, socializing Agile within the organization, and Agile metrics.
- See how a QSM Associates (QSMA) study shows Agile teams are 50% faster to market and 25% more productive as compared to industry averages.
"In this challenging economy, most budgets are shrinking and development teams are being asked to do more with less," said Ryan Martens, Rally's founder and CTO. "Our Agile Success Tours provide an opportunity for companies to learn from their peers and industry experts about how to use Agile development to improve productivity, speed time-to-market and ultimately cut costs."
Each event includes an executive panel discussion made up of local Agile industry leaders and users, a series of breakout sessions where attendees guide the conversation, and an in-depth review of how Agile practices can measurably cut costs.
