Tom Bogan
Greylock Partners

Tom Bogan is a Venture Partner at Greylock Partners. His areas of focus include software and development tools. Before Greylock, Tom was president and COO of Rational Software, an S&P 500 enterprise software company from 2000 until its sale to IBM in 2003. He previously had served Rational as its COO and general manager of its testing business from 1996 to 2000. Prior to Rational, Tom was president and CEO of two early stage technology companies that focused on networking and peripheral products Pacific Data Products (1993 to 1996) and Avatar Technologies (1987 to 1993). Before Avatar, his background was in finance and he served as a financial officer in public and private companies as well as positions in public accounting.

Tom's investments consist of Apptio, ClearForest (Acquired by Reuters), iConclude (Acquired by Opsware), OATSystems (Acquired by Checkpoint Systems), Simply Continuous and Troux Technologies. He also serves as the Chairman of Citrix Systems and is a trustee of Stonehill College. He was previously a director of several public and private companies including eRoom Technologies and Meca Software.

Tom is a graduate of Stonehill College.

Brad Feld
Mobius Venture Capital

Brad Feld is a Managing Director at Foundry Group and has been an early stage investor and entrepreneur for over 20 years. Prior to co-founding Foundry Group, he co-founded Mobius Venture Capital and, prior to that, founded Intensity Ventures, a company that helped launch and operate software companies and later became a venture affiliate of the predecessor to Mobius Venture Capital. Brad currently serves on the board of directors of Gnip, Oblong, and Zynga Game Network for Foundry Group. Previously, Brad served as chief technology officer of AmeriData Technologies. AmeriData acquired Feld Technologies, a firm he founded in 1987 that specialized in custom software applications. Brad had grown Feld Technologies into one of Boston’s leading software consulting firms prior to the acquisition. He also directed the diversification into software consulting at AmeriData, a $1.5 billion publicly-traded company which was acquired by GE Capital in 1995.

In addition to his investing efforts, Brad has been active with several non-profit organizations and currently is chairman of the National Center for Women & Information Technology and co-chairman of the Colorado Governor's Innovation Council. Brad is a nationally recognized speaker on the topics of venture capital investing and entrepreneurship and writes widely read and well respected blogs at www.feld.com and www.askthevc.com.

Brad holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Tim Miller
CEO, Rally Software Development

Tim Miller is the CEO of Rally Software, which helps organizations perfect the art of software development through Agile and Lean practices. Rally is four‐time winner of the highly coveted Jolt Award (the software industry's equivalent of the Oscar® award) and has been named one of the fastest growth companies and also one of the top companies to work for in Colorado for 3 years running. With more than 18 years of management experience, Tim has been honored as an Esprit Entrepreneur of the Year and a finalist for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year. Prior to joining Rally, Tim was CEO of Avitek, which was sold to BEA Systems in 1999. Tim helped create BEA's highly successful Portal Development Group and then served as Vice President of BEA's Accelerated Development Centers.

Tim has been actively involved in his community with several groups including TechStars, Social Venture Partners, Young Presidents Organization and Young Entrepreneurs Organization. He holds a Masters in Information Systems and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In addition to his professional pursuits, Tim has sailed throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean for a year with his wife and two daughters.
 

Peter Roshko
Boulder Ventures

Peter Roshko is a General Partner with Boulder Ventures and has over 21 years of venture capital and consulting expertise. Peter was a General Partner at Mohr, Davidow Ventures (MDV) in Menlo Park, California for nine years where he concentrated in software, medical devices and services. He was a Board member of Vantive Corporation for nine years from its founding through its IPO and subsequent sale to PeopleSoft (NASDAQ: PSFT). Additionally, Peter is currently a Board member of Trust Company of America, Xifin and ProStor.

Prior to joining MDV, Peter was a Senior Consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in San Francisco where he planned, designed and implemented management information systems for a variety of client engagements.

Peter holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Bryan Stolle
Mohr Davidow

Bryan Stolle is a General Partner at Mohr Davidow. A former entrepreneur, founder and chief executive officer, Bryan brings significant company building expertise to Mohr Davidow. Bryan has led investments and holds board seats with HotChalk and Helpstream. He focuses on and invests in people, ideas, and companies that are trying to solve important business problems using new technologies, business models, or processes. Bryan co-founded Mohr Davidow-backed Agile Software in March 1995. He then served as a member of the Agile board of directors and as Agile CEO through April 2006, and as Chairman of the Board until Oracle acquired the company in July 2007. Prior to founding Agile, Bryan served in various executive marketing roles at Sherpa Corporation, a developer of enterprise product data management software and Rexcom Systems, a software company he co-founded. He started his career at EDS.

Bryan holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a visionary and pioneer in the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) industry, and is a popular speaker on the topics of PLM, enterprise product strategy, and outsourcing. Bryan also serves on the advisory boards of the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business and the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, as well as the board of the San Jose Children’s Discovery Museum.

Mark Carges
Chief Technology Officer, eBay

Mark joined eBay's leadership team in September 2008, overseeing the company’s platform as well as the technology architecture, software development and site operations for eBay.com. Prior to joining eBay, Mark was executive vice president, products and general manager, for the Business Interaction Division at BEA Systems, a provider of enterprise application infrastructure software which was acquired by Oracle in April 2008. During more than a decade at BEA, Mark held a variety of senior technology leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer.

Mark began his career at Bell Labs as one of the original architects of Tuxedo, software for constructing highly scalable transaction processing applications. Prior to BEA, he designed and developed early versions of Tuxedo at Bell Labs, Unix System Labs and Novell.

Mark received his M.S. degree in Computer Science from New York University and B.A. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.

Tim Wolf
President, Wolf Interests LLC

For over 37 years, Tim Wolf's deep experience as a finance executive has consistently improved organizations’ balance sheets through strategic cost reductions and cash generation. Tim served as Chief Integration Officer of MillerCoors Brewing Company, Global Chief Financial Officer of Molson Coors Brewing Company, Chief Financial Officer of Coors Brewing Company and has held several senior finance positions at PepsiCo and Disney. While at MillerCoors Brewing Company, the joint venture of Molson Coors Brewing Company and SABMiller that combines Coors Brewing Company and the Miller Brewing Company, Tim was responsible for converging and integrating the two companies and ensuring delivery of $500 million of cost reduction synergies.

In addition to Rally, Tim has been a member of the Board of Directors of the $12 billion Xcel Energy Company since January 2007, serving as Chairman of the Board's Nuclear, Environmental and Safety Committee. He is also a member of and is Chairman of eTown, the Boulder-based non-profit organization committed to exploring environmental and social justice issues through a bi-weekly radio show featuring music and dialogue.

Tim holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in economics from Harvard University.

Rob Ward
Meritech Capital Partners, Board Observer

Rob Ward was a founder of Meritech in 1999 and focuses on investment opportunities in the data and analytics, internet and digital media, SaaS/open source software and security sectors. He has been directly involved with previous Meritech investments such as Acopia, IntraLase, MarketAxess and TopSpin and led the firm's successful investments in Acclarent (JNJ), BigFix (IBM), Counterpane (BT), Fortinet (FTNT), Greenplum (EMC), Netezza (IBM), Quigo (AOL) and Reliant (SLTM).

Rob joined Meritech from Montgomery Securities where he was a principal in the Private Equity Group, raising late stage capital for private information technology, financial services and medical technology companies. Prior to joining Montgomery, Rob was with Smith Barney, where he spent five years in the Corporate Finance Department in New York and San Francisco.

Rob received a B.A. degree from Williams College and a M.S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and currently serves as a tutor at Eastside College Preparatory School in East Palo Alto, California.
