Sales Intern - Lead Qualification

What we're looking for:

A junior or senior year undergrad or MBA student interested in working approximately 15 hours per week supporting an experienced, dynamic and fun sales team with various initiatives.

Responsibilites will include

The lead qualification role will manage the early stages of the sales process through prospect selection, cold calling, activity tracking, reporting and scheduling for Rally's sales organization. This will be accomplished by qualifying needs and professionally articulating Rally's value proposition as well as navigating through large complex accounts, identifying and engaging with the right technology decision makers. Lead sources include: marketing programs, seminar/events, website downloads and inbound contacts from the web, phone and email.

Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to build sales skills and advance sales career
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • High aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Exceptional verbal communication and objection handling skills
  • Flexible, reliable, results-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong computer and Internet skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
