Rally's co-founders receive top honors at the Boulder Chamber of Commerce Esprit awards
BOULDER, Colo., Oct 1, 2007 - Rally Software Development Corp.®, the leading on-demand provider of Agile software life cycle management solutions, continues to be recognized as one of the best technology companies in Colorado. The Boulder Chamber of Commerce will honor Rally co-founders, Tim Miller and Ryan Martens, with the Entrepreneurs of the Year award at its Esprit awards dinner Wednesday, Oct., 17 at the Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield.
The Esprit award is the latest recognition Rally has received for its outstanding growth, entrepreneurial spirit and workplace ideals. In June, company CEO Tim Miller was named a finalist for the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in the Rocky Mountain region. Rally was also named the #1 fastest growing small private company in the Denver area by the Denver Business Journal and received top honors at the Mercury 100 awards as the #1 fastest growing company in Boulder and Broomfield counties. The company also was named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Colorado in the small/medium-sized company category from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Both Miller and Martens are serial entrepreneurs with more than 15 years experience each in managing, building and growing software companies from startup to Fortune 1000. Before co-founding Rally, they started Avitek, a custom software development firm that grew to over $10M in revenues before being acquired by BEA Systems in 1999. Both Miller and Martens are actively involved in the community as members of Social Venture Partners, the Entrepreneur's Foundation of Colorado, Chapters of Young Entrepreneur's Organization (YEO), Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and the Colorado Conservation Trust.
