Rally Software Named Colorado’s Best Company to Work For and Second-Fastest Growing Company
Agile application lifecycle management (ALM) provider recognized for its emphasis on collaborative culture, employee work/life balance and triple-digit growth
BOULDER, Colo., August 5, 2009 - Rally Software Development Corp.®, the Agile application lifecycle management (ALM) leader, was named the #1 "Best Company to Work for in Colorado" by ColoradoBiz Magazine. Rally won in the medium-sized category based on its unique corporate culture that emphasizes collaboration and employee involvement at all levels of the company. Rally was also named the #2 Fastest-Growing Private Company in its revenue bracket by the Denver Business Journal.

To achieve the rankings for the "Best Company to Work for in Colorado," employees were asked to participate in a confidential, independent survey by Modern Think, a workplace-excellence consulting firm. The survey evaluated companies on 65 factors from the perspective of the individual, workgroup and the organization as a whole.
Rally's employees gave the company an overall grade of 94 percent and rated the company a 98 percent or higher in the following categories:

- Given responsibility and freedom to do the job
- Actively seeking to understand customer's needs
- A sense that employees are on the same team
- A genuine interest in the well-being of employees
- Senior leadership that models organizational values

The Fastest-Growing Private Company award from the Denver Business Journal identified nearly 300 companies in this year's list of top performers. Participating companies were divided into five revenue flights and ranked according to gross revenue growth over the last three years. Rally earned the second spot in its flight by increasing its revenue 242% since 2006.
