While Rally provides a complete suite of standard agile reports, as teams' agility matures and processes are customized, these standard reports may not suffice, and custom reports become key to making fact-based informed business decisions.
That's why Rally created the first SaaS-based data warehouse for software development, to provide flexibility in slicing and dicing your development data the way you want. Unlike most ALM vendors that rely on infrequent snapshots to build reports, Rally's analytical database is updated in near-real-time and, because it's SaaS, it requires no customer infrastructure and no setup cost.
If your business calls for unique reports, Rally's App SDK with graphical component library enables you to quickly create custom Apps and graphical reports. You can create stand alone Apps or combine Rally project data with data from multiple external sources. Last but not least, we also maintain the Rally App Catalog, a library of fully supported Apps that allow you to quickly extend Rally's functionality with a couple of clicks.
