Simplified User Administration for Enterprise Customers

Rally’s customers rest assured that their data is secure behind state-of-the-art security infrastructure. Now, customers with hundreds or thousands of licenses can simplify and automate how they manage their Rally users.

Rally’s Advanced Security and Administration solution integrates Rally’s login authentication with existing identity management systems, supporting Single-Sign-On (SSO) for On-Demand customers and LDAP for our On-Premise customers.  Additional security options include the ability to limit access to Rally via IP ranges and to restrict attachments by file type.

Advanced Security and Administration Highlights

Reduce Password ‘Fatigue’ and Reduce IT Support Costs
IT administrators are all too familiar with user frustration when trying to remember login IDs and passwords for different applications. On-Demand and On-Premise IT administrators can eliminate this hassle by allowing users to access Rally with their corporate Login credentials. This capability also allows IT departments to restrict access to Rally by de-activating users from their LDAP or Single-Sign-On systems, an essential requirement for complying with many Enterprise IT security policies.

Learn about the technical requirements for enabling Single-Sign-On with Rally and for enabling Rally's LDAP integration.

IP Range Restriction provides greater control over who can access Rally
Administrators can also restrict access to Rally by IP range. Simply define a list or range of IP addresses that correspond to your company’s corporate network IP addresses. After enabling this capability, only users logged into your corporate network can gain access to Rally.

Restrict Attachments by File Type
Rally administrators may wish to restrict which types of file attachments users can upload. With this policy enabled, Rally will reject any file types that are not approved.
