PhysEd @ Rally – Ultimate Football
We play frisbee, we play soccer, we play football… and today we played ultimate football. Think “ultimate frisbee with a football”; all of the rules of ultimate frisbee apply except substitute a football for the frisbee.
The teams:
Team 1
Andrew
Fatt Marrar
Full House
Jay
Justin Bieber
Pants
Todd H.
Ryan (second half)
Team 2
Doug
Eric “The Red”
G-Money
Love Muscle
Groundskeeper Neely
Roland
Ryan (first half)
Smitty
The Score:
Team 1: 16
Team 2: 12
Summary:
The teams didn’t take long to get stuck into the spirit of the new game, a quick flurry of scoring from Team 2 prompting them to ask “Do you need us to sit someone out…?”. Team 1 didn’t take kindly to that taunting, answering with a resounding “No” and leapt into the lead with some strong play on both sides of the ball. The additional man did prove to be a decisive factor in the game, with Team 2 retaking and holding the lead until the break.
Halftime brought a change in team disposition after a minor injury resulted in Ryan switching sides to even things out. There were several other minor injuries as the field condition disintegrated. The teams essentially traded scores after halftime until Team 1 went on a run, scoring several points including the final one.
Todd H. played the role of chief cherry-picker (normally played by Fatt) proving quite unstoppable especially given that Team 2 didn’t have Pants (the usual cherry-picker-killer).
-Fatt and G

Ahem. I was on Team 2 and Pants was not. Was I that forgettable?
Just making sure you’re paying attention
. It’s fixed now.
