Today’s lineups saw a swathe of changes. We welcomed back KT & David from their injuries, but lost about half the regulars to a training course.

The first frisbee game at the new home of PhysEd was hard fought, and the smaller team size made for a lot of running on the larger field. There were plenty of opportunities to utilise the open spaces between players, with darting runs and route jumping a persistent characteristic of the game. Both teams found it difficult to adapt to the disc’s flight over the new playing surface, with many misread and dropped passes throughout the game. Making the Routine Look Difficult took the first couple points, and The Team with No Name struggled to keep pace despite having a player advantage. Turnovers in key places led to the teams going in 7-4 at half time. TTWNN outscored MTRLD in the second half, and fought back to level the game at 9 points apiece, prompting agreement on the “Play to 11?” question. Both teams then failed to make most of some good chances, but MTRLD were able to take the two they needed for the win.
