Despite the scoreline, today’s match up was almost as even as the number of players. The players were getting better at reading the disc for the most part, however a cooler day may have been a contributing factor to their effectiveness. Scoring initially came in fits and spurts, with the teams trading two or three point batches in the first half. Teams went into the break with the scores at 7-4 in favor of The Reds + Ian. The Reds continued their dominance when play resumed, taking the next three points to go 6 points clear. Apparently that was the head start Whites had been looking to concede, as they proceeded to score a flurry of points. The teams were tiring as the end drew near, evidenced by the abundance of late turnovers and searching passes to loiterers in the end zones. Reds were able to triumph on the day, final score 13-9.
