Agile Rollout Planning

This two-day workshop prepares your stakeholders (executives, managers and product owners) for an enterprise-wide transition to Agile development practices.

You will produce an overall Agile adoption plan for the organization and determine which follow-on training modules best support your Agile rollout strategy.

Approach

Throughout the workshop, Rally’s Agile coaches will guide you and help you to co-create a plan outlining the key activities of your Agile implementation and work with your stakeholders to gain consensus on the overall approach. Incorporating their deep experiences across many Agile rollouts, Rally’s coaches will work with you to develop your Agile Rollout Plan that covers:

  • Agile Strategy and Objectives
    Producing a shared statement based on your organization’s objectives and success criteria.
  • Approach and Benefits
    Identifying your organization’s specific issues and mapping impediments to Agile approaches that address these challenges.
  • Deliverables and Schedule
    Defining a rollout timeline with detailed cycles (iterations) and progress measures.
  • Support for Organization Change
    Describing how Rally will support the Agile transition efforts of each level in your organization, including the executive team, the leadership team and your project teams.
  • Team Roles
    Identifying the individuals on your Agile Core Team who will be your organization’s change agents.

Day II Agenda: Rollout Planning

  • What are our goals in rolling out Agile in our organization?
  • What is the priority of our goals?
  • What roadblocks are preventing us from achieving those priority goals?
  • What other issues and risks do we need to identify?
  • What organizational roles will have to change?
  • What pilot projects will you use to initiate your rollout?
  • What training will you use to support the pilot projects?
  • What other practices, tools, metrics, and artifacts will we adopt?
  • Based on our goals and issues, what is organizational change management backlog?

  • What is our action plan from this meeting?

Price

$5,950, plus travel and expenses. This includes 2 days of on-site work plus 4 hours project plan development. Additional consulting days are available from Rally's expert coaches for $2,950 per day.
