NEW! Rally Release 4.5 delivers exciting new features including the addition of My Notifications so users and teams can keep track of changes that might affect them, new Dashboards, that provide schedule views for all Releases and Iterations within projects, Defect Status views to manage defects as teams drive towards their release date and enhanced Test Case support with Results and Quick Views.

My Notifications
- Rally now keeps track of changes that might affect you. During your current Iteration, if you own a Story Card or Task, you will now see:
- Any changing Requirements that are applicable to you
- Failing test cases or logged defects associated with the Story Card
- Change of ownership
- Also, if you are working on System artifacts such as Features, Use Cases, Requirements, Test Cases and Defects you will be notified of changes that impact you if you are the owner.
- Use the time-based Quick Views to easily see new items that impact you. You can manage your list by removing those items that you have already read.
Dashboards – Program Roadmap View
- You can now view the schedule for all Releases and Iterations for your projects. You can save this pdf file to disk and send it via email or include it in reports. Release name, scheduled Release date and Theme are displayed or view more with the expanding flyover.
Release Defect Status view
- This new view shows all story cards for the Release and all defects that are active and associated to the requirements. Use this view to manage your defects as you drive towards your release date.
Enhanced Test Case support – Results and Quick Views
- Test Case Summary, Iteration Tests and My Tests views have all been enhanced to show the Test Case result. Use this to determine the reason why a Test Case failed. You can add a result from the summary views without having to switch to the detail page.
- Quick Views have been added to Test Case Summary and My Test Cases. You can show those test cases that are have never been run, those that are not passing, and those that have active defects.
Users Scoped to a Program
- Previously, all users were displayed in owner drop downs for a subscription. This has been changed to only show those users that are valid users for a Program.
