Administrator Fundamentals (Rally Team, Program & Enterprise)

Rally provides an easy-to-use interface for adding users and customizing each Workspace based on organizational needs.  Within Rally there are two administrative levels, these include:

• Subscription Administrator - There can be one or more Subscription Administrators and a Subscription Administrator has the highest level of security provided in Rally.  
• Delegated Workspace Administrator - A Workspace Administrator is delegated and authorized by the Subscription Administrator for each Workspace.

Customizing Workspaces - Configuration of Work Products prefixes, drop downs, and units & planning is customizable for each Workspace.

Adding Custom Fields - For a given Workspace you can add custom fields to aid in the development process.  Supported data types are boolean, date, decimal, drop down list, integer, string or text.

Adding Custom Views - Custom fields are available for use on Editor pages and in Custom Views, or can be viewed on the Work Product Detail page.  Shared views and User custom views are easily configurable.

Creating Programs (Optional) - Programs provide a mechanism for organizing the tracking and reporting of paired Projects and Releases.
